LEADERSHIP EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM

CHAMBER OF AFRICAN BLUE ECONOMY (C.A.B.E) LAUNCHES A LEADERSHIP EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM EXCLUSIVELY FOR GRADUATES OF THE BLUE ECONOMY INSTITUTE. THIS PROGRAM AIMS TO PREPARE AND PLACE TOP GRADUATES IN KEY LEADERSHIP POSITIONS WITHIN C.A.B.E AND ITS MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS. THE PROGRAM INCLUDES MENTORSHIP BY INDUSTRY LEADERS, LEADERSHIP WORKSHOPS, AND STRATEGIC PROJECT ASSIGNMENTS.

Strategic Assignment

Mentee is assigned a strategic project to develop a management plan on an identified opportunity that blue economy can offer for a coastal community in Africa. This project allows mentees to apply their knowledge and skills while addressing real-world challenges.

 Leadership Role

Upon successful completion of the program, Mentees are offered a leadership position within the Chamber Of African Blue Economy as the manager or a senior officer for the project they developed. In this role, the manager or senior officer is responsible for developing and implementing policies that promote economic growth in C.A.B.E initiatives on blue economy opportunities in the region.

Application and Acceptance

Graduates can apply for Leadership Employment Program, highlighting their achievements and practical experience gained during their studies. When application is accepted, then, the applicant is invited to participate in the program.

 Mentorship and Training

As part of the program, newly participant is paired with a senior executive at C.A.B.E who serves as a mentor to be attending leadership workshops that focus on strategic decision-making on blue economy, crisis management, and innovative aquatic solutions.
